Main Application Fields of Peristaltic Pump

The principle of peristaltic pump is very simple. That rollers press tubes and roll to push liquid inside tubes to move forward and liquid to flow, just like pressing tubes filled with liquid by fingers, inner side of tubes will form negative pressure and liquid move forward with fingers moving forward.

Peristaltic pump is called constant current pump because of stable flow rate and  squeezing tubes to achieve to pump fluid. 1. Laboratory areas: Peristaltic pumps have extremely high accuracy and repeatability in small volume fluid distribution and metering. They do not only depend on any other valve, but also avoid the common fluid blocking and siphoning phenomenon. Common laboratory applications: cell tissue transport, specimen decolorization, perfusion, liquid chromatography and acid or alkaline solution transferring.

2. Food and chemical industry: Many existing pump tubes can meet the requirements of USP, FDA, NS. The use of peristaltic pump can easily transport viscous liquid and liquid with small particles. Peristaltic pump has no need to be cleaned, so customers just need to replace tubes when replacing the liquid. Common applications: acid, alkali, solvents, suspended solids, dispersions, liquid semi-solid, chocolate, salt water, vinegar, syrup, vegetable oil, soybean oil, honey and other food filling.

3. Pharmaceutical field: the peristaltic pump adapts with non-polluting and non-corrosive tubes, which meet USP Class VI requirements and withstand high temperature sterilization. Furthermore, there are a variety of drive options, used for the following occasions: solvent, acid, alkali, plant extracts, plasma and so on.

4. General areas: peristaltic pump can work in the occasion, such as continuous transferring  fluid. As the same time, it can detect and solve many difficult problems in the process of fluid transferring. It can transfer sewage, suspended solids, corrosive chemicals, and other viscous fluids and flow rate can be up to 40 l / min. The motor can cope with harsh working environment. And the peristaltic pump can avoid disastrous failures according to its own self-irrigation and idling capacity. Some common application: coal slurry, magma, mud, mortar, explosive pulp, and lubricating oil.
